Lorraine Portman

Award Winning Screenwriter, Filmmaker, and Playwright

“Peace, Love, and Law Enforcment” Jacksonville Film Festival Finalist

Lorraine’s screenplay “Peace, Love, and Law Enforcement” was a top ten finalist in Jacksonville Film Festival’s 2011 Screenplay Competition.

Lorraine enjoyed the program of events designed for the top ten screenwriters: workshops, screenings, and a pitch competition.

The Jacksonville Film Festival was an intense weekend of connecting with treasured film friends, making new friends, fabulous Pitching workshops by Khris Baxter, a great craft workshop by Jennie Jarvis, cocktails, films, late night walks, and amazing conversations about writing.

Lorraine was featured in a Jacksonville Times Union Article about the Pitch Competition.
